Acceptable Use Policy

Activities that are prohibited, restricted or require approval before using NerpA Pay.

Effective date: 3 September 2026Last updated: 3 September 2026

Prohibited activity

NerpA Pay must not be used for illegal products or services, fraud, scams, money laundering, sanctions evasion, terrorism financing, stolen data, counterfeit goods, unlawful content, unauthorised financial activity, credential theft or abuse of payment infrastructure.

Restricted activity

Some business models, countries, products and transaction types are restricted because they require additional review, contractual controls or evidence. Access is not implied by the existence of a technical feature or public documentation.

Subject to prior approval

Higher-risk industries are assessed individually and are not automatically prohibited. A business must disclose its complete model, ownership, target markets, customer journey and required licences before relying on NerpA Pay for such activity. Written approval may include conditions or limits.

Merchant responsibilities

Merchants must provide accurate information, maintain required licences, comply with consumer and data-protection obligations, prevent unauthorised use and notify NerpA Pay when their business, ownership, markets or products materially change.

Enforcement

NerpA Pay may request information, refuse a transaction capability, restrict access, suspend functionality or end a relationship where activity is prohibited, undisclosed, misleading or presents unacceptable legal, compliance, fraud or security risk.

Contact

Prospective merchants can ask whether an activity is eligible by contacting contact@nerpapay.com. Approval is valid only when confirmed through the formal onboarding or contracting process.
