AML & KYC Policy

Risk-based measures designed to prevent misuse of NerpA Pay for financial crime, fraud, sanctions evasion and other unlawful activity.

Effective date: 3 September 2026Last updated: 3 September 2026

Risk-based approach

Before enabling services, NerpA Pay may assess the proposed business, ownership, jurisdiction, industry, product, transaction profile, geographic exposure, sanctions risk and reputation. The depth and frequency of review depend on risk and applicable requirements.

Business verification

We may request incorporation and registration records, registered address, ownership structure, directors, shareholders, beneficial owners, authorised representatives, business website, business model, licences where applicable, expected transaction volumes, countries and currencies.

Individual verification

For directors, beneficial owners and representatives, checks may require identity documents, date of birth, residential address, proof of address and additional evidence. Sensitive records must be provided only through an approved secure onboarding channel.

Screening and additional evidence

Relevant parties may be screened against sanctions, politically exposed person and adverse-media sources. We may also request source-of-funds or source-of-wealth evidence, contracts, invoices, corporate records and ownership evidence where appropriate.

Ongoing review

Business relationships and activity may be reviewed periodically or when risk indicators change. Additional verification may be requested by third parties involved in a transaction.

Restrictions

NerpA Pay may decline onboarding, request additional documents, restrict functionality, suspend access or end a relationship where reasonably required for compliance, fraud prevention, security or legal obligations.

Merchant responsibilities

Merchants remain responsible for customer checks, consumer disclosures, licences, monitoring and record keeping required for their own activity. NerpA Pay controls do not replace those obligations.

Contact

Compliance enquiries can be sent to contact@nerpapay.com. Do not attach identity documents or confidential records to an ordinary email unless instructed through an approved secure process.
